Crochet 🧶

Thank you June this book is one of the best in its genre, I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to start learning how to Crochet. It’s also an excellent resource for the intermediate and advanced level crocheters.

The projects in the book are really lovely and some are really quick to make, plus you will learn so much at the same time.

Whilst doing the “Reindeer Games 2023” which June runs from November 1st to December 31st through her Ravelry and Discord Groups.
One project I made from this book that I was having trouble understanding how to make was the “Double Diagonals Shawl”. I messaged June on Discord with a photo of my project and June was able to identify where I was misunderstanding the pattern instructions.
June was very thorough with her explanation and instructions that I was able to see how I misinterpreted the pattern instructions. She imparts her knowledge in a way that makes you feel comfortable and able to accomplish whatever you are making.
All I can say is that June will go out of her way to help you with any questions and/or if you need help with any of her patterns.

Not good on devices

I do like this book. But, as an E-Book, don't waste your money. There is no way to bookmark a page, you cannot use the contents to get to a certain chapter.
I truly wasted money on this purchase because of the above, it is very frustrating not to be able to use this as a quick reference.
A good book in paper but not on devices.

May be well written, but the font used is small and gray, making it very difficult to read on a digital platform. I'll read one of the many other options that contain the same information but are easier on the eyes.

As I mentioned before, I have spent a lot of time in January learning to crochet! This has been one of the best learning to crochet books that I have borrowed from the library. So good in fact that I'm thinking about actually purchasing one for myself! The photographs are wonderful and the explanations are clear. If you are new to crocheting this is a book I would definitely recommend adding to your library.

LOVE this book. June gives so many great details about crochet that other books don't touch - such as how to sew on parts to amigurumi! We love the hamster pattern so much, I think we've made about 30 of them. Highly recommended for new and experienced crocheters alike.
